We are pleased to announce the signing of Terry Bryant on the 2nd foreigner spot next to Billy McDaniel. Terry is a 1,86m tall point guard. He lastly played for two seasons in Dorsten, Germany, in the 2nd league Pro B, and was one of the main factors for the team moving up 2 seasons ago. The 1985 born American (Home: Hattiesburg, MS) player averaged 17.2 pts and 4 assists during 34.2 min playing time, whilst he averaged 52,4% 2FGP and 39,1% 3FGP. Claude Weiler (23 years) transfers from BC Mess to enforce Black Star Mersch´s men team next season in National 1. He lastly played for Sparta (on loan) and will help the promoted team under the baskets. The 196 cm tall inside player will play the positions 3 and 4. Further player will come on loan and will be announced shortly … The Women Team will gain 3 new players: Eline van de Wiele (Mamer), Sandy Roben (Sparta) & Dana Richartz (Etzella)

Black Star Mersch has found a successor for Fabienne Fuger (AB Contern). Christian Welter, 31 years old and former coach of Schieren and Kehlen, will be the new Coach of the Women Team in National 2 next Season.
Billy McDaniel and coach Mike Smith have extended their contracts for the 2012/13 season. Further News about Transfers will be announced shortly.
