We’d like to thank Mike Smith and Christian Welter for their work and dedication during last 3 resp. last season for Black Star Mersch. Both coaches of the men and women teams stepped down after this season. Mike Smith already found a new challenge in taking over the men’s team for AS Soleuvre in TOTAL League next season. Thank you again for your work and passion during your time with Black Star!

Background: Basket Esch announced that they might eventually acquire a third non-JICL-player! Until now, a gentlemen’s agreement had been decided by the clubs and therefore no team in the men’s Total league had more then 2 non-JICL-players.
