After a pro player spot opened up in the Senior Men Team of Black Star Mersch, the club signed Roger Dale Ray to finish the current season in the best possible way.

Roger Ray, 25 year old native from Raleigh, North Carolina, has been playing Basketball since the age of 4. He says he one day picked up a ball and never left Basketball since.

Roger played for Livingstone College, NC., during his college career and earned numerous awards, such as 2020 CIAA player of the year or three times CIAA all Conference team. Roger is the all-time leading scorer for Livingstone college. Find more details here

He played in Valencia, Spain when he was contacted by Black Star Mersch to join the roster. We are very happy to have Roger Ray on board the Black Star to complete the pro player spots alongside Markese Mayfield.

Recently, Roger and Patrick, president of Black Star Mersch, sat down to sign the contract. Roger says he is absolutely happy to be here and join the whole team to finish the season in the best possible way.
