R.I.P.    Jean-Marie Muller 22.09.1950-09.12.2013 Member of Black Star Mersch since 1965, he won the cadet championship in 1966 and the junior championship in 1967 and 1968. He was the captain of the men’s team and in 1970 he participated at the « Universiade » in Torino (I). Since the early 1970’s he was a member of Black Star committee. He figured as secretary of the club from 1981 till 2007. During the last 2 years he was vice-president. He represented our club at the sports commission of the city of Mersch. Concerning the disappointing games the last weeks Black Star management has taken the decision by mutual agreement to replace Andra Bailey by Mike Oppland as the 2nd professional player on its roster besides Jarvis Williams. Mike Oppland already signed with the club on a tryout in the beginning of the season before injuring himself and being replaced by Bailey. He is now again 100% fit and ready to help stabilize the team. Mike Oppland is a 204cm tall forward born in 1984.
