Black Star likes to announce a new head coach for its men team for the upcoming season in N2: Tom Kries His palmares as a coach follows: Contern: Women: 2001-2005 champion 2004, coupe 2003, 2004, 2005 Men assistant-coach: 2003-2005, champion 2004 Basket Esch: Women: 2005-2006 doublé (champion + coupe) Men: 2006-2008 Gréngewald: Women and Men: 2008-2010

We’d like to thank Mike Smith and Christian Welter for their work and dedication during last 3 resp. last season for Black Star Mersch. Both coaches of the men and women teams stepped down after this season. Mike Smith already found a new challenge in taking over the men’s team for AS Soleuvre in TOTAL League next season. Thank you again for your work and passion during your time with Black Star!
