When we decided two years ago, to engage Rainer Kloss, whose first station as coach in Luxembourg was Black Star Mersch in 2008, we and he had a clear goal in mind: to grow up the Black Star Team with the help of young players, mostly our own youth players and build a team that, in some years, can step into the N1Total League.

At the beginning of this season 2019/20 nobody was believing that we could have a chance to jump into the play-offs, everybody and the experts. All of our players, apart from our two American professional players, don’t ask for any financial requirements, they keep together as a team and support each other.
Participation and enthusiasm in practices are both high. That’s the reason why we are standing in the play-offs now. Not to forget our coach and assistant coach Dennis Profico, who always help the guys to be motivated and to work towards their goal.

We want to continue on this way, and we will give young players who have no chance to play in the highest league, the opportunity to perform in the 2nd league and to develop their skills. We know, that we will not automatically reach the playoffs next season again and we still need to improve a lot, as a team and club.
Therefore we are looking for two more players for the next season. So if you want to be a part of our men team, please contact us or our coaches.
