While Tom Kries and Eric Besenius stay as Coach and Ass. Coach for the upcoming season, the first newcomers are already known:

Tim Schmit and Olli Haan are the first acquisitions of the promoted team of Black Star Mersch. The 19 year old small forward transfers from US Heffingen, while the 33 year old shooting guard and former player of Amicale Steinsel didn’t play last season (except Bascol).

Furthermore Laurent Mreches joins from Kayl (loan to Esch last year) while Ben Melcher joins from Amicale (loan to Walfer last year), both on loan.

Chris Müller will leave the team for his native club Telstar next season.

For the Women team, Marc Marchetti will be coach with Eric Besenius stepping to Ass. Coach.

The women team’s first transfer is Jil Duhr (from Sparta), who was already part of the team last year on loan. New players lining up are Marie-lou Haentges and Rachel Martin.

Danielle Schares will return to US Heffingen after her loan expired.
