With the season in the books, it is time to get a look over how the different teams did during the year:

– Let’s start off with the men’s team: The players of Tom Kries and Eric Besenius managed to promote to the TOTAL League, which crowns their season. We had to wait until the last game for them to make the promotion clear, but nevertheless they made it to the best division in the country and are trying next year to remain in the top league.

– The women team had a solid year but 3 coach switches gave them a little bumpy season. In the end the girls around Eric Besenius held on to the 1st spot in the playdowns of N2, which means they will compete again in N2 next year and are trying to make it to the playoffs.

– The 2nd men team managed to win all their remaining games in the playoffs and promote to the 3rd div.

– The 2nd women team was only beaten by Esch B and became vice-champion of the 2nd teams!

– The Espoirs around Eric Besenius and Tom Schroeder had a difficult start into the season but managed in the end to claim the 2nd spot in the 3rd division.

As for our youth teams:

– The cadets of Coach Alexis Kreps were in the 3rd div. were they claimed the 3rd spot after some very close games.

– The minis of Coach Alexis Kreps were playing in the 4th div. and also took the 3rd spot in their division.

– The filles scolaires, who were coached by Änder Gruskovnjak, with a lot of new young girls and held on to the 6th spot in the 3rd div.

– The poussins (Max Schmit) and prépoussins (Alexis Kreps) are not playing in a regular championship but are playing several friendly games were they showed a lot of potential for the years to come.

– The last team is the Babybasket for our youngest kids. This team trained by Lis Offermans and Mike Oppland was a big success with more than 25 kids learning to have fun on the court and play basketball and some really talents were already spotted.
