10 years after his first engagement in Mersch, Rainer Kloss will be back home at Black Star next season to coach the men’s team. First, we’d like to thank Misha Stojanovic for his dedication over the last 3 years. We are delighted to announce the next transfer for our men’s team for the upcoming season: David Torres will join Black Star from Contern. The 187cm tall guard player will help the team with this leading and fighting abilities. The great experience of the 33 year old will also be an asset next to his defense skills. We are proud to announce the transfer of Elisio Delgado to our men’s roster for next season. With the size of 1.91m the JICL-player will be helping the team on the 4 and 5 position. The 34 year old forward played the last 2 season for Arantia Larochette (loaned from Diekirch) in the TOTAL League, where he averaged 2.13 rebounds and 1.6 points per game in 15 minutes playing time. After the confirmation that Coach Stojanovic and Non-JICL player Bryant Irwin will stay in Mersch for a further season, our second professional Non-JICL player Duane Johnson signed a contract for a further season with Black Star this morning.  The men team’s roster for next season is hence gaining in structure and continuity was key for the upcoming challenge next season.
