Things start to fall in place regarding the next season. At this stage, it is known that Anne Slunecko will join the Black Star Senior Ladies Team. The ’97 born 1,80m tall small/power forward has has played for teams in Kehlen, Walferdange, Kassel (DE) and Eindhoven (NL). Her biggest successes so far : playing the Ladies cup final with Residence in 2016 and moving up to Nationale I Division for the 2016-2017 season. As a 16 year old, Anne played for the national team and participated with 2 European championships. Regarding the 2022-2023 season, Anne says she is hoping “for a great atmosphere in the team and above all playing a full season with no Corona setbacks“.

All Black Star wishes Anne Slunecko full success in joining our club. It’s good to have you on board!

Also, Mike Pravisani, the architect of the Senior Ladies very strong 2021-2022 season, will stay with Black Star Ladies for the next season. Given the terrific job he’s done with the team, one cannot help but thinking other teams were interested in his coaching. Mike has decided though to stay with Black Star for another season. According to Mike, “it just felt like the right thing to do, stay here longer, try once more to go for Nationale I Division, still aim at improving our game“. We couldn’t agree more. Good decision, Mike !
