We’d like to inform you that Rainer Kloss has decided to stop his coaching career and hence leaves the coaching position at Black Star Mersch after 3 years (for his 2nd time in Mersch). We are very greatful for his work, dedication and patience to guide our young squad grow.

We are also happy to announce that Denis Profico, former assistant coach of Rainer over the last three years, will step up and take over the coaching positon where he will build upon the same core of young players for the upcoming season.

Furthermore, we have signed Rashad Hassan, known in Luxembourg as player of Sparta Bartreng in 2015-2016, at the power forward/center position. The US citizen is 203 cm tall and played in Australia, England and Saudi-Arabia over the last few seasons. He averaged 18-20 points and 7-14 assists over the last 4 seasons in his respective teams.
