The twin brother of Dan Oppland played the previous two seasons with his sibling for Allianz Swans Gmunden in Austria. He graduated from Valparaiso and entered the NBA Draft in 2007. He continued his carreer in Europe for Horsholm (DK), Namika Lahti and Korihait (SF), Braves and Ehingen (D). Last season in Austria he averaged 5.7ppg and 2.7 rpg on 56% FG and 15 min per game.
